A Sisters Thwarted Hope.

Little did we know,
we’d share conflicts
rather than compliments.
At first glance
I’d thought,
I glanced at the hope,
there’d be one so considerate
who’d patiently read me,
yet impatiently,
she skimmed through me
as though I were a book of no worth.
So, we departed in a feud
left to be continued.
Last of my efforts,
unveiled her rage
whilst I silently stood captive,
in my unsaid words,
dripping essence of sorrowful regret.
Finally, I’d wondered
who won and who lost,
in this daggering words said battled?
While bled the heart
and wept the eyes,
in demise, of this
once hopeful flowering bond,
that no longer could be salvaged.
