“Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”.
But it’s we, who tell ourselves to change, over and over.

Trying hard to cover up every blemish and that one scar,
When they are a part of who we really are.

The sky has it’s grey clouds, the rose it’s thorn.
And the stars in the pitch, black night with the shine they adorn.

We have to look in the mirror and learn to love the one we see in there.
It’s not the beholder, but we who need to lower the glare.

Stop judging ourselves for not having that perfect smile or the perfect hair.
For perfect is an illusion; our imperfections are what make us beautiful, without compare.
