Child play

The school bags running home
Covered with raincoats with a smile which never fade,
Under the chasing drizzle
They give up running hesitantly thinking about
The sweet lecture after reaching…
Never thought, giving up is this easy…
Dancing little ones following the melody
Of the grunting clouds.
Inhaling the cold breeze with a scent of soil
Excited by the touch of the rain
The water drips down the street
Made the little sprinters even more excited
Jumping into every tiny water pool
Making their colourful coat a muddy mess
Their pure soul tinted crimson
Appreciating the gust blown their way
Making crescent shaped eyes
Made the slanted shower think straight
Greeted by every fallen leave,
Accompanied by drunkard branches,
Their chuckles never cease…
