Hide and Seek

Walking down the street,
I saw today some little kids,
Running around,
Playing in the colony’s playground.
I stopped my moving feet,
stood there to watch them play the Hide & Seek.
Something then beeped my brain,
Ruffling my memories,
I found there my childhood days.
When I was a small naughty kid,
Used to play whole day, my favourite, same Hide & Seek.
The days when there were no worries,
Just new excuses everyday to play with buddies.
Cutting my thoughts,
With his cute sonant blade,
A boy from the group invited me to play.
Oh boy! How did he read my mind?
I thanked him for being so kind & crossed the lane,
I joined them then for my favourite childhood game.
