MY CHAPERONE

I’m under the roof of my demonic wall
Come and save me, my chaperone
I remember when your eyes met mine while the sun shone
I am a blade cutting through my own melodies
Make me a symphony I can’t cut through, my chaperone
It was June when I forgot how to gaze at the moon
Land fire burning my dream house down
All my desires looked at me with agony
I am not known for my sanity
Bullet marks on my knees
And all I need to see is you beside the door of my car
Telling me we’d go so far
All my nightmares turned into dead ends
Pull the brakes of your love and call me your favourite doom, my chaperone
