Fate

For someone it is love at first sight and it just feels right

For someone it is dislike so strong, you wonder how you will ever get along

For someone else it is the people they ignore

Thinking they just know them, nothing more

Who even plans these twists, is it fate?

Universe laughs in a corner, ‘Oh you just wait.’

I remember how I met them

In a sea of faces all unknown, they were there

Back then I didn’t know, one day they will feel like home

It doesn’t happen in those grand ways, scenarios you had imagined in your mind

No roses falling, violins playing in the air, no Bollywood script designed

Because you two are destined, you just stop feeling the passage of time

And sometimes, just a simple ‘Hi’ and there you go

Your lives get beautifully aligned
