WHAT IS LOVE?

THAT FEELING THAT MAKES YOU FLOAT?

OR THE FEELING THAT DROWNS YOU WHEN YOU ARE HURT ? IS LOVE TO MAKE YOU BETTER?

OR PULL YOU DOWN , DRAG YOU DOWN TO A PLACE YOU

DON'T WANT TO BE AT?

Have you experienced love?

At some point in life. I feel everyone has.

An emotional, physical, intellectual kind of love.

Love would have

been of any kind, but I bet you would have experienced it.

If not let me tell you about my love & may be you can have a name that comes up in your mind who has made you feel the same.

He made me feel safe.

Most safe when he touched me

But that is not how it started.

It started with a handshake with a strange I had never met before,

It felt like love at first sight; something I did not believe to be true.

As I stayed around him, something inside me grew, something formed inside my heart which I didnot acknowledge more than an infatuation before I had my first fight with him.

I didn't think anybody had the power to shatter me, the way he did, the way his words pierced my heart like a dagger, the tears I couldn't hold back running down my cheeks and I froze in my step then and again.

It felt like a task getting myself together. Little did he know the impact he had on me. Over time as days passed, I grew close to him and him to me, despite whatever happened, what life threw at as we got through but not as lover but as friends.

But isn't that what even love is all about ? Or life is all about?

I never found out if he loved me the way I

loved him.

I never found out if he was ever hurt when I was rude to him.

I never knew if he ever knew I loved him, and what he made me feel.

With our past, present & what our future holds for us, I know one thing, we are special for each other, the bond I have with him may be something more than love, beyond love and as timeless as love.

Does it hurt me while I write this or with him around or when I talk to him?

No it doesnot, because hurt is covered up by the fact he makes me feel safe and the most safe when he hugs me.
