Oh Merciful… Oh Hapi Nile!
You tastes sweeter than Egypt's lifeline…
I a merchant, who wandered in Sirocco's ride.
Relentless stubborn swirl wind's smile!
The burning sun scorched my fragile soul,
And walked endless miles of desert heap whole.
At night, stared upon starry star constellations roll,
Saw the celestial moon rises up as phoenix erol.
Whispering ancient chant's echoed at Tombs of Pharaoh's!
Ahramat-Al-Jizah!! The Spinx as the guards.
Grains of sand oozes down the hourglass as cascades.
I came to sell 'lapiz lazuli ' at royal palaces.
The streets drummed the rhythm of folkloric music flow…
Those manuscriptic hieroglyphs aroused my curious mind glow.
The heart's secret desire to come across Queen Cleopatra once.
An enchantress! who bathes in gallons of milk and honey!
She ceases the inquity of realm at allay!
The serpent on her crown mirrors, creative life force at array.
People rejoice in plethora, wealth and happiness!
A white swan, who rises the empire with greatness!
The waves of sleep rippled in calm gesta.
I awoke blissfully from midst siesta.
Turbulent visions, float away as a stream.
It's strange! Was it a dream?
