A Night to Remember

By Debanjan S Kundu

It is a great feeling when the blood gushes through your veins, you feel the rage coming out of your mind and you just give yourself that much liberty to let yourself be free from all the thoughts. You move about and your mind is free, quiet and serene. In the middle of that life that you most famously lead and are proud of, sometimes it becomes imperative to unwind in the wildest manner possible without crossing the line. In an opportunity to do so, I waited for the 20th of January since the day, I got to know about it.

Some events happen in your life, that you are inclined towards, cherishing no matter what and you suddenly find people, whom you have been trying to find throughout your life and they are there, right in front of your eyes. So what do you do with them? You give them a certain portion of your life, you give them the time and what yields out of it, is an inexplicable bunch of memories, laughter, and joy! You dance with them, you sing with them, you go all crazy and then you help them, throughout, you give your best when they come to you, you try to inspire them, be a source of absolute motivation and above all, you be a good human being to them! When you groove with them in that zone, in the wave of that music, when the lights go out, under the moonlit sky, there is nothing but absolute joy in the air. There are times when you go berserk, you do not know if it is for real, and you do not want it to end. As the night grows older and darker, you feel like time is all that you have and what you have is very and whatever is happening is such a wonderful stroke of luck. You try to make the most of it. You try and make as many memories as possible and so you go ahead and you take that step, you put forward our best foot towards that new person, that friend of your friend, and you connect and you go and again, you don't want it to finish, do you? But that's what is the most wonderful thing in life, those good things have their timing, they come in their way, in directions we never can anticipate and they leave us and they give us so much, in that duration, it often becomes everlasting, that taste, it remains, that feeling it takes time sink in, the following morning as we rush back to our work, we feel, we have woken up from a dream, and everything again feels normal, but normal is what is routine and routine is lethal. So in between these doses of absolute craziness is what we often yearn for and when we experience them, we adjust, we accept that good time comes and it goes but our life, it goes on!
