" A Real Man's Heart "

Updated: Feb 8, 2024

By Khushbu Khetawat

To all the boys who promised the stars above,

But their words were empty, not filled with love,

To all the boys who claimed to be my knight,

Yet left me alone in the darkest of night,

To all the boys who talked a big game,

But folded like cards in the face of shame,

To all the boys who thought they were strong,

Yet couldn't bear the weight when things went wrong,

To all the boys who wore a mask so thin,

Pretending to be a man, hiding within,

But let me tell you, in truth, I've found,

A real man's strength in silence is profound,

For love is more than just words and disguise,

It's shown in actions, in tears, and in cries,

So to all the boys who said “ I love you” but didn't do,

You lack a real man's heart, I hoped to find in you.
