Annayya and Murali, a perfect pair,
A bond of brothers, strong and fair.
Through laughter and tears, they stood as one,
A tale of two brothers, forever won.
Annayya guided Murali with a gentle hand,
Through life's joys and challenges in a foreign land.
In kindergarten days, Annayya's neatness shone bright;
He won a blue plastic bucket, a delightful sight.
Murali looked up to him with admiration and pride,
A big brother's achievement, a memory to always abide.
Annayya's imagination, a wondrous, magical thing,
Wove tales from movie posters with a storyteller's wing.
Murali would listen with wonder, and eyes aglow,
Believing Annayya's words as wisdom to always know.
In the still of the night, when doubts would creep,
Murali would wake Annayya at 3 am, while others would sleep.
Together they'd share secrets, and laughter would resound,
Like the time they bought neon playing cards, hidden safely underground.
In an aluminum school box, their treasure they would hide,
A secret kept between them, or so they thought with pride.
But when their secret was discovered, and their treasure revealed,
Murali denied all knowledge, his innocence he would yield.
Annayya, out of station, unaware of the fray,
Returned home to face questions and a severe beating day.
Murali, younger and spared, was given a warning,
A lesson learned, a memory that would forever unfold.
In seventh grade, Murali took a noble stand,
Against copying, he raised his hand.
He complained to Ms. Marina with courage in his heart,
Against the school head boy, a just cause to start.
The head boy, with influence and might,
Had been forcing others to copy without a fight.
Murali's bravery sparked a change, a new path to explore,
A stand against injustice that would forever leave its mark once more.
Annayya, though worried about the consequences to come,
Was proud of Murali for standing up for what's right and winning.
Their bond grew stronger through life's joys and strife,
A tale of two brothers, a love that's a precious, shining life.
As years went by, their paths did part,
Marriage and careers took up their heart.
Yet, their brotherly bond forever remained, a love that is shown,
A testament to their relationship, forever grown.
Today, on December 13, Annayya turns 53,
A milestone marked with love and memories to be.
Murali looks up to him with gratitude and cheer,
A brother, a guide, a friend, always near.
Let this be a testament to the bond they share with pride,
A brotherly love that's rare and forever will reside.
For in each other's eyes, they see a love so true and bright,
A bond between brothers, forever shining with delight.
