From where you see me
And if you see me,
When you see me smile and laugh and chat
With everyone but you,
I wonder how you feel.
Do you feel forgotten and dispensed?
Do you feel I have moved on?
Do you feel cross about it?
I so hope you don't
And that you are in a place
Much happier than you or I have ever been in.
But if you do feel that way,
You must not.
Your shadow may dress up in pretty clothes
And smile and laugh and chat
But will never be peeled off you,
Like the earth which
Painted with land and oceans
Will remain a fireball at its core.
