Brain Vacation

In today’s time, people are so engrossed in responsibility that they do not get time for themselves. They also adopt different methods to detox themselves mentally. One of them is ‘Brain Vacation’ i.e., a therapy which is necessary to reduce stress, improve mental health and increase work efficiency.

Brain Vacation is called that action, when a break is taken to get rid of mental stress and to give rest to the mind. Actually, the mind also needs rest like body and without adequate rest mental health gets affected.

There are many ways to do this therapy, such as-

  • MEDITATION- It is a powerful way to calm the mind and reduce stress. In this you focus your attention on your breath or any specific objects and allow the thoughts to come. Meditation can be done anytime, so it is an excellent and effective technique foe brain vacation.

  • EXERCISE- It is not only beneficial for physical health but also for mental health. Regular exercise can reduce stress and improve mood. It can also increase the effect of blood in the brain which can improve mental capacity.



  • CREATIVE WORK- Doing work like painting, drawing or writing is an effective way to relax the mind. Creative work can also be a good way to express emotions and get an attitude towards life.

  • VISIT NATURE- Spending time in nature can be an effective way to relax the mind. There is a peaceful effect on the mind and body towards nature and can help reduce stress and improve mood. There can also be an excellent way to exercise in nature which can increase the benefits of a brain vacation.

Brain Vacation is an important practice to maintain mental health. Various techniques are available for brain vacation. To get it’s full benefits, it is important to include this in your daily routine. Remember, rest is not only for the body but also for the mind, so give rest to your mind even the busyness.
