Caresses of her lips on my skin, soft and supple,
The meritorious feel of feeding my baby
Nutrition she gets from her dearly mother rich in vitality Helps battling her from deadly illness
Knowing that my milk is best for my baby
I fear the act of nurture, the need of nature.
For breast is the best for a baby to be brighter.
For this is the voice of a feeding mother.
However enriched is my drop of milk
Here are the glazing eyes with arched brows,
Surpassing glimpses and open-mouthed discriminations A women endures, for being a women
For breast is the best for a baby to be brighter.
For this is the voice of a feeding mother!
I juggle with work and motherhood to make my ends meet I’m multifarious, this is my voice, a voice of a feeding mother I’m a labourer, a teacher, travel adviser, traffic police, I’m a Pilot, doctor, lawyer, a CEO
I’m rich, I’m poor, make no disparity for a feeding mother For breast is the best for a baby to be brighter
For this is the voice of a feeding mother.
In a century thriving women empowerment,
Where I need to battle unjust for my baby and my means of living I struggle to encounter the scenarios,
Of lack of feeding rooms and feeding in rest rooms With getting shooed from restaurants and shopping malls
Inadequate maternity leaves and what not!
For breast is the best for a baby to be brighter For this is the voice of a feeding mother.
Silent plight of the new-borns
The burden of which too huge to handle
The mortality rates peaking up
So where lies the responsibility!
Don’t be the beast to the feeding breasts,
Rather come together to shield
I’m in need of this great shield, from every corner For breast is the best for a baby to be brighter. For this is the voice of a feeding mother!
Here are leaders, who considers it a Nobel deed, As a point of righteousness to reinforce breastfeeding To all working women, rather not shame her off By making breastfeeding-in-public, a crime! And fantasising oversexualisation.
For breast is the best for a baby to be brighter. For this is the voice of a feeding mother!
Breastfeeding commodities as rising business Which come in flying colours
Making young moms feel more fancier.
The NGOs and Baby friendly hospital initiatives With its wider hands to protect us.
Overall, the responsibility lies not just in our great leaders But within each of us, to enrich the feeding mothers.
For breast is the best for a baby to be brighter. For this is the voice of a feeding mother!
