Hey there!
Lately, I’ve started finding solace in music while looking for motivation to boost up my writing. In a nutshell, I work as a content writer.
Eventually, it became a therapy for work and thereafter my drafts were well received and the FOMO effect did seemingly blur out.
I was more inclined to mashup music than original scores. Slowly and steadily, that therapy was now transitioned to an activity. I started focusing on lyrics and key messaging in songs. Now, I would not just plug my headset and groove with moves but gazed at the theme and lyrics.
In 2020, when mankind came in close proximity to COVID, we had to befriend social distancing and stay at home. I took up this crazy fantasy of writing poetries combining tracks that I often Spotify.
One such rendition of that activity could be found below. Here are my first feelings to encourage my brain to gear up when down on morale. Below you will find a piece curated drawing inspiration from the musical melting pot that homes artists across the world.
It might seem crazy what I'm speaking at this moment.
Hey look, if you had one shot,
To seize it all, the way you want,
Why let it slip?
Give it a go. Win or lose, you’ll just be fine.
Feel free to clap along if you know what is meant for you.
If you get stuck, my friend,
Remember you’re your own flashlight.
Befriend that passion, you have got in you.
Slow down, enjoy it, embrace it right then,
Guarantee, you‘ll be feeling ecstatic.
But listen! Opportunities come once in a lifetime,
You own it, never let it go.
You only get one take, so time to awake.
Lose yourself to hard work and achieve your moment.
That feeling is magical.
Also, completely logical!
Give a shoutout to those who encourage you every day either once, twice, or thrice.
For they, only wish, to see you rise,
Like shining diamonds in the sky.
