I walk in the same circles as you
Going round, and round and
Round
And because it looked so easy for you
Why wouldn't it be easy for me, too?
It was until I decided I wanted to break away
But I was afraid everyone would look at me - as the one who
broke their circle.
The circle that seemed so easy to draw
But so hard for me follow
Maybe you would hate me for leaving the circle,
But what if I broke loose just so I could have a taste of fresher air?
To let my hands reach out to the light and rays of hope
The circle promised me?
To feel be free?
To find a reason to stay in a circle that
Everyone pushed me into
But never told me why.
To search for the wings I needed to fly so bad?
Would you still hate me and leave beautiful, red roses
Or would you let me go?
