Cursed Quill

By Shaikh Mohd Gaus Aminuddin

As my quill writes your name in blood,

The storm returns with an emotional flood.

That fateful night, our eyes first met,

In the library at 4 a.m., a moment I can't forget.

Your amber-like gaze burned into my soul,

Love ignited, uncontrolled, and whole.

Hair like golden threads shone in the dark,

A beacon of light, a lasting mark.

My heart, unbridled, raced like a steed,

Yielding to you, knowing it would bleed.

Your voice, a whisper, soft and clear,

An enchanting spell I both loved and feared.

Each word you spoke, a tether to fate,

Binding me closer, too near to escape.

For passion, I knew, would one day consume,

And love's bloom would lead to a tomb.

Since that first meeting, destiny was written,

A curse, a blessing—a love I can't quit.

Bound by this quill, I trace your name,

Eternal devotion, a lover's flame.
