Dancing smoothly
With the swiftness of rains
I slip into death
With such elegance
That even life envies
My lively trance.
I belonged to her
But never belonged to her
Death allured my inner child
Into the after world
With the most enchanting lullaby
She had ever heard.
Now dreams and castles
Seem at par
Now rainbows and slumbers
Not very far.
Now I can navigate my way
Through the barren lands
Now I can water and nurture
My dead plants.
Plateaus with skulls and
Fountains of blood
I’ve seen a black kitten
In a distant world.
