Every human being have desires and there are all kinds of desires- ideal, dark, intellectual, economic, physical and sexual. In order to control our desires we humans don’t really have a way, either we just give in to our desires or we can pretend to control them, until they burst out of ourselves altogether. So, Can we really express desires?? Well, it depends on the desires we have, and how strongly we can be persuaded by them. Desires can lead a man to do anything, the desire can turn into a dark desire and that can turn into an obsession which completely could destroy us. Speaking of dark desires, I’m sure late at night lying in our bed we THINK and while thinking there could be something coming to our minds which we don’t want to happen but it never really goes out of the head. Is it the obsession about some girl or some boy whom you can’t get out of your head?
Or is it something really dark which you don’t think you can do but if you think about it you could do it? What really are these dark desires which lead a man to do something which would have been never expected from them. A murder, a kidnapping, a rape- as horrifying as it sounds its what that dark desire is. Fighting that dark desire is not easy for anybody, those who do it are able to control their thoughts, their emotions but those who cannot do it, are the ones who really suffer.
Having a sexual fantasy is one thing but being obsessed with someone and willing to go at any depths for that person is dark desire. A dark desire can lead anyone to the darkest paths which they could never have expected. Satisfying a desire can somehow turn into a need that you might not be able to control.
So, its not always romantic getaways and the sweet little things in a relationship, Its more than that, it’s the accepting of each other’s flaws or desires and helping each other heal in a way.
