Divinity

By Dr.V.Vijay Anand Sriram

deeply inspired by divinity, i drew my hands close to purity.

a fraction of touch by the wind makes me feel God is so kind.

the lovely green leaves bring satisfaction, reminding me nature’s humble variation.

i raised my eyes to look at the sky; everything i learned from a bird’s fly.

the rain drops fell one by one, washing away sins as they gently run.

but i wonder why God seems hindered; the answer within whispers—he’s bothered.

perhaps, in the path of Dvaitha, i see, God watching over but separate from me.

his hands guide, his mercy protects, but we are distinct in all respects.

yet Advaitha calls me to transcend the divide, to see the self as where God resides.

the wind, the rain, the earth, and the sea—all merge into one eternal unity.

Vishistadvaitha finds a harmonious way, teaching that all forms, though diverse, convey

a singular essence, divine and whole, binding the body, the world, and the soul.

each drop of rain, each bird in flight, reflects God’s presence, radiant and bright.

through nature’s wonders, i come to see, divinity resides in all, including me.

Note

i is not capitalised to ensure we are always under God’s Shelter
