Adult hypocrisy, it's hard to ignore,
They preach one thing, but their actions ignore.
"Do as I say, not as I do," they claim,
But their double standards bring nothing but shame.
They talk about maturity, leading the way,
Yet they're the ones who often stray.
Lecturing about values, trying to be wise,
While their own lives are a web of lies.
Adult hypocrisy, it's the name of the game,
They point fingers, but it's all the same.
Talking big, but their deeds are small,
It's time to break down this crumbling wall.
"Respect your elders," they demand the respect,
But when it's our turn to speak, they just deflect
Lectures on responsibility, but their actions disagree,
It's a messed-up world, full of adult hypocrisy.
They talk about honesty, integrity too,
But watch them cut corners and cheat till they're through.
Preaching kindness, then gossiping away,
Their masks slip off, revealing their true face.
"Work hard," they say, to the young and the bold,
But they clock out early, leaving stories untold.
Promoting fairness, equality for all,
Yet their privilege blinds them, making them fall.
Adult hypocrisy, it's the name of the game,
They point fingers, but it's all the same.
Talking big, but their deeds are small,
It's a cycle that needs to be broken,
These contradictions need to be spoken.
We're the ones who see through the lies,
Calling out the hypocrisy, no compromise.
"Stand up for justice," their slogan so loud,
But they turn a blind eye when it's not in their crowd.
Oh, adult hypocrisy, you're a sad melody,
Playing out every day, for the world to see.
They talk 'bout the environment, saving the Earth,
Yet they exploit its resources for all they're worth.
Preaching about climate change and the Earth's decay,
Yet they keep polluting, like there's no price to pay.
Preaching love and acceptance, or so they claim,
But their judgments and biases fuel the same old flame.
"Love thy neighbour," the golden rule they quote,
But they judge and discriminate, with a bias they promote.
It's time for change, a revolution of thought,
To expose their falsehoods, all that they've bought.
Let's rise above, break the chains that confine,
Call out the hypocrisy, it's our time to shine.
