Echo of Sorrow in Love

Updated: Jan 17

By Gracie Tanna

In the enrapture of the dawn,

The embrace when the sun and moon

Meet with each other’s flaws,

I see you, peering in those vivid eyes,

That makes me want to gaze at you,

Instead of the beauty of the majestic sky,

With your eyes the way to the woods,

Into your depths with all your muse,

I love you and I wish I was with you,

But the sorrow doesn’t fade, in lieu,

It breathes back in when you grow away

A delicate blend of love and longing, beautifully capturing the ache of distance.

Gracie Tanna, your words paint emotions as vividly as the skies you describe—keep inspiring with your poetic voice!
