Everything And Nothing At All

By Sakshi Rawat

She craves attention

Only to reject it when it comes

She wants to be happy

Yet listens to her favourite sad songs

Always wants to be alone

But never wanting to be lonely

You'll never hear a sound when she cries

But the songs she sings loudly

She smiles more to herself

For the world she has a frown

With in her head is a living wild forest

That keeps on making sound

She is both vulnerable and strong

Real yet far from reality

Want answers to all of her questions

Always high on curiosity

Faithful to the people she loves

Yet dying to detach

What a conflicted contradiction.

If you want understand her

You may as well forget it all

She is paradox, everything

And nothing at all.
