Over the long haul, religious faith has proven itself the most powerful and enduring force in human history. Man, having made commendable advancements in science and technology, still finds him in a world of pain and dissatisfaction. Reason being, all this greed for comfort and ease, this unquenchable thirst for knowledge, has affected the pace of life drastically. The world has been evolving through generations, and religion has played its role in the past.
Religion does not refer to worshipping an omnipotent being in a temple. Religion is our faith, a faith that soothes our mind, body and soul after engagement with all the chaos. The most superficial problem of today's day and age lies in bridging the gap between faith and reason. These two are not mutually exclusive. In their form, each can benefit from the other. For instance, Mormons, a certain religious and cultural group, believe that "the Glory of God is intelligence." People of faith are at odds with the idea that religious practices and acts of faith are devoid of rational processing. Science is fully capable of explaining human experiences, but without faith, the essence of these experiences is missing.
Our yet advancing world, with its ideologies, philosophies, endless theories and all this aggravated by instantaneous media, is presenting various unique challenges to religion. Consequently, modernity makes it quite strenuous for Man to sustain his faith. Nevertheless, since the very beginning of human existence, absolutely nothing has been able to replace religion. Culture did try to compete with religion, so to speak, but failed to oust our faith.
Faith is among us, often unnoticed, but present and very indispensable. Religion is a comfort, a community and a crutch. The true essence of religion lies in total confidence in one's credence. When we lead our lives based on this understanding, the 'promised land' will be but a step away from our reach. Religion is worth preserving and upholding, especially in today's fast-paced lifestyle. The reason is that it has a tremendous capacity to spiritually lift an individual. On this account, religion is not only relevant but an essential part of our very existence.

Faith is among us, often overlooked, but present and very indispensable. Religion is comfort and credence. It has proven its essentiality during this time of global panic. The fear and anxiety this coronavirus was meant to cause have been diminished mainly because of our confidence in our faith. While the "Corona Warriors" ensured our physical welfare, our spiritual well-being remained intact through this reliance.
