I know you sob when I cry,
And how you want to fill my cup when yours is still dry.
We were building this love castle and you put in all your best bricks for me
Walking up the stairs on the terrace; watching sunsets we’d glee
You’d make me love for breakfast, I’d give you life for dinner
I got sick , you cared so much; you started getting thinner.
You covered the whole castle with the paint of your care;
got greasy and lumpy but it’d still brighten my stare.
I’d wait for you all day to come back , you bought me flowers in the evening
We were pulling so hard but would still always save our love string.
The flu spread all over, I suffocated; you couldn’t breathe
You thought of our castle as a trap
Pushed me out of it
Wished to set me free;
But you never knew in the castle I wished to die, because it was the ‘forever after’ home for me.
