Friendship Breakup

Nothing lasts forever,

But for some memories to remember,

There were times when we laughed our lungs out,

But now it seems like ignorance is all your heart shouts.

For all that you're achieved I always took pride,

But you simply chose to take me for a ride.

The belief I had in the concept of friendship was so bright,

But now the same concept gives me fright.

The very thought of losing someone always gave me a chill,

It was never really something that felt like a thrill.

But i guess life decided to show me how friendships end,

Giving me in return a broken heart to mend.
