Updated: Jan 17

Multifaceted. That’s the world through the eyes of a bookworm, multifaceted. As one devours word after word, you delve into worlds unlike any other. What it is, is an infinite number of alternate realities really.

It’s both the pleasure and pain of being a lover of books. For with each book comes a world that entrances you, making you forget the material. However, the very words that entrance have the power to render you speechless.

As a reader, the emotional turmoil you go through for each book generally rates the book. The good books send a few shock waves through your system. Then there are those whose pages short circuit your brain while your heart gallops. Words that stop your world from time to time. Words that send you down a rabbit hole, blurring the lines between reality and fiction.

No matter the experience, it will never be the exact same as another for books are like snowflakes. No two are exactly the same. Hence why book worms will always go back for more.
