Guest House

Mrs.Lily Souza and her daughter were happily living in their sweet home until they met Sam who had recently immigrated to their town. Sam was an orphan who was musician by profession and bachelor with handsome look and was generous in nature. Sam met Lily in the town where he was searching for a room to stay. Sam with his guitar came to Mrs.Lily asking to hold her heavy bag which she was finding difficult to Carry. Bag was full with vegetable and grocery which would last almost for a week. Sam in his polite words asked Mrs. Lily, “Madam is it ok if I can drop you till your cab?” She replied “sure my child it would be nice if you could help me out”. Sam on the way shared that he was searching  for a rented room where he can live, Mrs. Lily found the boy very kind and said he can come along with her at her residence where he can occupy the guest house and can pay her the monthly rent. 

Sam was very happy as finally he found a shelter. They both reached the house , house was of an old design with a beautiful garden just outside, there was a small well and a swing behind the guest house. Mrs. Lily showed Sam his room and asked him to close the back doors before 7 in the evening. Sam said ok without asking any question. 

Sam loved the place and played his music notes with love and full of compassion until he found his tummy being vibrating, he realized that he had not made arrangement for food. So he thought of asking Mrs. Lily for some food tonight. It was sharp 7 p.m and he remembered to follow Mrs. Lily’s instructions of closing the back door of the room. 

After he walked out and knocked at Mrs. Lily’s door something went strange. To his surprise the door was opened by a pretty young girl with long golden hair and glowing eyes wrapped herself in a beautiful gown. Sam admired her for a moment while he found that she is my love at first sight. The girl seemed to be a little shy and asked him to come inside the house, Sam asked her “where is Mrs. Lily?” To his surprise the girl told him she had not returned back from market yet and is gone to get grocery and vegetable for a week. Hearing this the boy was surprised and told her the narration that she had brought him here and now he wanted some food so he came to ask for same. The girl said might be she came but did not come inside yet and she has been waiting for her for almost past 4 hours now.

Sam said alright to the girl He will quickly visit the market and would search her and get some food also from the way. The girl smiled and nodded her head. The moment Sam went outside he saw the swing swinging up and down with soft music playing and hitting his ears. Sam decided to peep through his rooms windows and to go beyond the backyard door of his room, the music chanted in his ears and made him open the back door. The moment Sam opened the door the wind blew strongly and spreading the muddy dust all over the backyard. The music had turned into screaming loud noise and lights flickering on and off the house .He tried running inside the guest house but found Mrs.Lily and the same girl inside the guest house hung up with a rope. There was no other escape where he can move to survive his scary experience he faced that night and some evil force made him to jump inside the well where he screamed till death and no one to save him alive.

Chapter 2. The Mysterious Girl: Upon visiting Mrs. Lily's house, Sam is greeted by a beautiful young girl with golden hair, who seems to be a stranger. She claims that Mrs. Lily is still at the market, but something feels off about the situation.

Chapter 3. The Haunting Experience: Sam begins to hear strange music and feels drawn to the swing in the garden. His curiosity leads him to open the back door of his room, which sets off a chain of frightening events. The atmosphere turns from peaceful to chaotic, with lights flickering and the once-soft music turning into a horrifying scream.

Chapter 4. The Tragic Discovery: Upon rushing back into the guest house, Sam is horrified to find Mrs. Lily and the girl, who are now lifeless, hanging from a rope. In the midst of his panic and confusion, an evil force seems to take control of him, forcing him to jump into the well, where he meets his tragic end.

This story plays with elements of suspense, horror, and the supernatural. The beautiful, serene setting of the house contrasts sharply with the dark, sinister twist that unfolds. Sam's fate seems to be sealed by a malevolent force tied to the house, leaving readers with an unsettling feeling about what really happened to Mrs. Lily and the girl—and whether their deaths were part of a much larger, darker mystery.
