Swiftly as a wind and through it she sailed,
Traces of God in the scent that wafted,
Across her face the spiteful veil,
Nevertheless he gazed in the eyes that dazed.
Zeal through candour with which he pursued,
Innocence of pure in the voice that travelled.
Naught can he do when the angel looked through,
Purer than bliss his pain began to cease.
All of pleasures and all of desires,
Love got anchored in the heart that wavered.
Mindfully beware and painfully aware,
On the shores of time he waited for her chime.
