I have sun but I am cold
I lay under a blanket, I am still cold
Put on a coat, it's freezing
It's June and am freezing
The fire place doesn't warm me up
I eventually found warmth in winters
It's cold but it stays
My eyes don't gleam anymore
I guess cold does that to them
My lips don't curve upwards
I guess cold does that to them
People glow golden around me
For some reason I hate it
I still keep watching though.
A stranger's smile stopped the snow
I look up and clouds move away
I look down and grass covered my feet
My eyes get moist
My lips curl up
It was an awkward autumn
But it was warm
The coming days were golden
Even when sun didn't shine
I still had my light besides me
I want to get blinded by it
Cold that consumed me now only visits in December.
