I Think, I Belong to Somewhere Else

By Priya Patel

[Context: This poem is the feeling of longing for another place where there is no problems and only happiness is blooming.]

I think, I belong to somewhere else,

Where there’s no worries,

Where the water’s not blurry,

Where golden light shines a tree.

Made possible that every soul

would dance happily.

Reload my life, I wish, I could

start it again.

I would change thousand things

hurriedly.

Kick off all the sadness pain.

We will only get the life of gain,

The gain would last the life for twice.

I want this much happiness and

peace.

The rivers and lakes wouldn’t kill

anybody.

The snakes are beautiful said by

a lady.

Mr Golden Rat would make his

home in hat,

If the wand wouldn’t be swung

around.

The life will not be changed, if

We will be waiting for someone

to knock the door,

And say, “Hello let’s go with me,

And I’ll take you to the place

where you belong.”
