Remember the time you got hurt?
How much you cried
almost died.
But you survived.
All the times you felt let down,
a pendulum of smiles and frowns.
If you erased the hard times that crowed,
what would happen to the lessons that followed?
If you all the thorns on the road skipped,
would you end up where you did?
There's always a positive front
to every time you were burnt.
a yin to the yang
a feather to the fang
a sun to the shade
a glow to the fade
Sure, what if's have a dreamy possibility.
Wouldn't you rather accept the reality?
If I could turn time,
I wouldn't change a dime.
