Life's Tapestry

By Humaira

"Everything in life is beautiful," they say,

But I can't help but feel a different way.

For life is not the same for everyone,

In shadows and light, battles are won.

We face the ups, we face the downs,

Moments of joy, in which we drown.

Yet life’s beauty, they insist, is always there,

But it’s fleeting, delicate, and rare.

In quiet nights, when dreams seem far,

We’re left with questions of who we are.

Pain whispers truths we cannot ignore,

Opening wounds that ache, and soar.

Tears carve rivers down weary faces,

Loss leaves echoes in empty places.

Love may falter, hearts may break,

But from these shards, strength we make.

We stitch our lives with threads of sorrow,

Hoping for a brighter tomorrow.

It's in these depths, this silent strife,

We find the colors of our life.

For beauty is in the struggle, too,

In the grey, in the black, and in the blue.

We shape our worlds with what we know,

In darkness, resilience starts to grow.

Life’s tapestry is woven tight,

With threads of both despair and light.

We are the ones who paint the scene,

In shadows, too, there lies a sheen.

So, yes, life is beautiful, but understand,

It's not just in joy, but in the pain we withstand.

In the trials and the tears we’ve shed,

We find the strength to forge ahead.
