Mending The Cracks

By Tulsi Dhameliya

Destruction comes, in a single blow,

A whispered doubt, a harsh word to show.

It's a fragile balance, between building and decay,

And in a moment's weakness, our progress fades away.

We tear ourselves down, with each critical thought,

A self-inflicted wound,that’s hard to be caught.

We are destroyers of our own inner peace,

A war wagged within, that never will cease.

But, Building ourselves, a work of art,

Takes time, restraint, and a gentle heart.

It's a journey of discovery, of trials and strife,

But with each step forward, we find our inner life.

Earning the best versions of own selves,

Is where our existing smells.

Being architects of my own design,

The builder of my dream,I define.
