When I was small,
I used to think,
That I was a fairy,
Everything I wore was supposed to be pink.
Now that I am bigger,
And wiser than I was before,
I cooked up a story of a modern fairy,
Who sore above all the stereotypes that bore.
Her name was Spirit,
And so she was full of it,
So hardworking was she,
That she would never sit!
She loved to fly,
Her favourite colour was blue,
All the other fairies thoughts he was odd,
‘But why?’, She never had a clue!
She had a best friend,
Always by her side,
Her name was Twinkle,
With whom she had nothing to hide.
Spirit was a fairy,
A fairy with a sharp mind,
She could put anything to freeze,
Believe me, she was one of a kind.
She considered her life to be perfect,
And was happy as she was,
Until one stormy night, a visitor came,
To Fairytopia with an evil cause.
Her name was Draven,
She came with her nephew,
His name was Spark,
Who came with good intentions and no ado.
All the fairies welcomed them,
With a grand party,
But Spirit didn’t attend it,
As she was watching the stars from the Pixie tree.
Draven, taking advantage,
Got to know all the fairies’ powers,
For she had to have the knowledge,
To create her own superpower.
She wanted to take over Fairytopia,
So she brought a Potion,
To become the most powerful fairy,
Even more than the Queen, was her notion.
Meanwhile,Spark was getting bored,
As he was not like the other fairies,
So he quietly came out of the party,
And like the weather which was airy.
Spark saw Spirit ,
Sitting on the tree,
And went upto her,
To ask who was she.
They talked, they laughed,
They even fell in love,
Spark and Spirit, then said ‘Good Night’,
And even to the stars above.
When Spark went back,
He heard his aunt, Draven,
As he realized her true intentions,
He quickly informed Spirit to save the haven.
As Draven was in her way,
Spirit stopped her and threatened,
For Spirit was not at the party,
So Draven didn’t know what reckoned!
So Spirit froze her,
And took her to the Queen,
The Queen imprisoned her forever,
And awarded Spark and Spirit for seeing the unseen.
Now, Spirit’s life was perfect,
In fact it was even better,
With Spark in her life and some popularity,
There was no fairy like her ever!
Nobody thought she was odd now,
Everybody wanted to be her friend,
Wearing blue from bottom to top,
Became, the new trend!
With this story,
I want to convey,
Nothing is impossible,
You will sore too, one day.
