My Moonlight

By Sandeep Patil

I look you like I look at the moon

I look at the you like the stars in the blue

I look at you like the night sky with it's patterns and clues

They can't lie, they're natural like you

They won't, let the dust from the lust blind you

They'll make you see through the dawn of the light when the night arrives

And can I ask you?

Ohhh this time is like wound from that night

Cursed wolf in the night for the queen he lied

Oh on the bed next you feel like night I can't survive

All the flower outside

All the colours in painting

Makes me feel more black and white

Remind me, my hand on your cheeck won't suffice

Ohhhhhhhhhh oh oh oh.

The lies in few slips remind me of the curse I

can't lift

I can't fight in the field if your eyes are not on me

I can't hold you then if your pinnacle is the crest

I can't surf the rest when you're stopping me from the best

I can't see you rise if you're setting from the west

I can't

I look at you like I look at the moon

That curve shaped smile reminds me of you

I'm jumping here hoping I can reach you

But how you changed me I can't undo

They can't change it's beautiful where its placed

Like your smile and your eyes when they look away

Baby you're born with touch of nature with your lips I can't refuse

Can I ask you?

Oh this world stops spinning every once in a while

Like a cursed knight for leaving his queen in

In a wild ride

Setting on a dinner next you reminds me of lies you hide

All the views from our house

And the lies you vowed

Remind of the ways I have fouled
