'My Strange Companion's'.

Updated: Jan 18

By Rahul Marskole

To the Soil, I say my prayers. To bury it like a seed.

To see it grow and so my dreams will come true.

To the Tree, I say my joys.

To make them big, beautiful & to bear fruits.

To the Water, I say my cure. Then I drink it.

To the Window I say my love letters.

To keep it as a secret and gently whisper it to my lover.

To the River, I say my happiness.

To carry it far and give it to the others.

To the Mountains, I say my goals.

I climb the mountain and so I shall complete my goal.

To the Sky, I say my secrets. To hold it in the clouds.

Away from my fellows.

To Thunder and Lightning, I say my lust/desires.

To hide it under the sound and just as quickly gone.

To the Fire, I say my guilt. To burn it from my memories.

To feel reborn.

To the Oceans, I say my sorrows.

To shed tears in the water.

To hide it from the world.

To the Moon, I say my one sided love story.

To share the same feelings and keep each other company.

To the Death, the one I call friend.

Though far away but sure to come.

To take me to the Heaven.

Where all is true and mine.
