Nature's Curse- Covid-19

By Uday Shah

A permutation of the word 'Carnivorous', thriving through the continents and gulping down the humanity like a glutton machine. "Isn't there any way to stop this devil?” asks every single being of the planet. The answer is never an affirmative. Medicines were the only elixirs but now they too have failed to keep their magical promise.

Corona virus, the name in itself gives a negative fame to humans. It took birth from the womb of a bat and the Chinese renowned for their atrocious eating habits nurtured the virus spreading it in Huwan city. Never did the world know about this deadly virus which the Chinese used it to become a super power.

This catastrophic virus hogged over the most advance countries like Italy and US wiping out people in numbers. Now it has set its eye on India. The country that had waged a war against some of the greatest epidemics like malaria, plague and flu and had shown the world its prowess is helpless today.

Killing humans, destroying homes, rupturing economies is all that corona got its schooling for. This virus is also a thief. Yes, it has stolen the daily wages of the people. In India, the labourers are not able to feed themselves and families. Corona a boon or a bane? Definitely, it is a bane. It is a curse. It is a sin that each of us will agree has been committed by we people. I do not say corona is not a bane but I do agree it is a karma, which has retaliated because of the human's indiscriminate behaviour.

The environment has lost all its regenerating power. Ozone is no longer a minute hole, instead has become a huge burrow tackling Antarctica. No wonder Mother Nature had to use this weapon named Corona to protect itself.

Today skies are reflecting like a mirror, oceans have become transparent, flora and fauna are getting a new life a new birth. All these can be said a corona effect. It is not only limited to the nature. Mother Earth cares for her kids too. The lockdowns, the public curfews, social distancing, cleanliness and hygiene improvement is a blessing in disguise. This would never have been possible without Corona's footing in our country.

We are dying day by day, minute by minute, hour by hour. Yet our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has not given up. He is bent upon eradicating Corona from our holy India. We need to stand together and unite. We need to stand for a good cause. Corona has done bad I agree but the goodness here overrides the bad omens. However, we cannot risk our lives and so just fetch a mask cover our beautiful faces and keep ourselves sanitized. Corona is allergic to clean bodies. So let us be one of them!

"No sneeze, no touch, no cough only one mask to complete the task to run covid-19 out of human mass!"

"Corona virus be aware, we have sanitizers and masks so don't you dare"
