Dearest Daughter,
It is with my heaviest heart I have to say,
And with all honesty I say, as your dear father, I never ever wanted a daughter.
To be a lovely girl's father is no child's play.
Hear me out and keep my solemn word in your mind, I love you no less nor I loved anyone like you,
But I have such fears that have kept me blue.
I never wished for your life to be, in anyway, confined.
Yet, I eternally wished for anything to protect my little girl, From the cruel despair that this world will lash upon
You. Would you be back in front of my eyes by dawn? Would you help me not regret fathering my little pearl? It is with my heaviest heart I confess that I would ponder Never had I ever wanted a daughter.
Sincerely, Your Father
