An Ocean, vast and blue and calm,
Withers in it’s depth as a fish in a net.
Deep in the hollow of her heart,
Lies a wound so black and charred.
Life in itself was blue and sound,
But less like life she was bound about.
Her children gather her wits and glory,
Black and blue they followed her way.
Fearless she sailed towards the shore,
Clueless of the storm about to become.
Blue was her face, and brown its eye:
Dark parade which was the sky above.
There at last she saw the burning land,
Light in the glow of an infinite spell.
My time has come dear ones, she said,
Today the land will know my wrath.
Swiftly and silently her waves rose above ,
Seeking her last sleep in human arms.
