Oh darling, your lips are beautiful,
yet they rarely speak words of kindness.
Oh darling, your eyes are wonderful,
but they seldom seek the good in others.
Oh darling, you have ears,
yet you often choose to hear
the meaningless chatter of others.
Oh darling, your hands and fingers are strong,
yet they seldom reach out to help those in need.
Oh darling, your table is filled with food to satisfy your hunger,
but have you ever thought of feeding someone who is starving?
Oh darling, you have the joy of your own family,
but have you considered embracing a child who has no one to call their own?
