The older I get the more I see
They are not smart
But they are more experienced.
Words of them were always true
I recognised them late
As I tasted people, I knew they were right.
It’s funny, we don’t take things when said
As we drag through it, we learn.
The colour appears magnificent to us
But the reality behind carries lessons for us.
Just like wild animals, we take everyone’s opinions
That turns out the cause of our downfall.
The mates we thought would last forever
Weren’t even worthy of our presence anymore.
