On the Day of Judgment

Updated: Jul 14

By Anamika

What will Gods say to us,

on the day of judgment?

Will they cry, or laugh at us?

Or like humans,

complain that we've broken the trust?

No, Gods possess no anger,

but love will be shattered.

In the helplessness,

they will congratulate us-

“You've made your home a wasteland, congratulations!

You succeeded in your purpose that we assigned you not,

you made it to the last with that pride of yours.

Though sinners, here with us you stand,

congratulations.”

What will be the next move?

Shall humans carry on existing,

or replaced by some other being?

Will earth be given another life,

or with humans, the same strife?

How far is that day of judgment?

Will we be gone by then?

Transformed into other forms,

saved from punishment?

Or will we face Gods,

as ourselves, as sinners?
