I bit my tongue,
My lips pursed, to not provoke you.
I kept my head down,
My eyes trained on the ground, to solidify my place below you.
I had my hands behind my back,
My fingers itching to correct you when you're wrong.
But I can't.
I am old enough for clever words, But too young to condemn you. When will you learn, Experience is not competence. And disagreement is not disrespect. You make sure, That i live my life for you. Now you have two lives, While i have none.
