Praised be the creator who saw it fit to make you as you are Blessed are the thorny paths that led you to me as you are You are a whispered prayer, a gentle wish kindly breathed into the wind and its gentle manifestation You are a kiss carried by the western wind, you are the wretched loneliness that lone lover feels You are the infinite beauty of the moon, cursed to eternal solitude You are lavishly revered with praise, anointed with lust Honoured with love, worshipped with unerring devotion
Your vices are your virtues Your voice pardons all evil Your innocence desecrates my pure soul, yet you remain untainted, pristine, in your ignorance How is it that you are you, that a knotted vessel of blood, flesh and tears is so unbearably beautiful Verily, you are the child of a thousand tears and endless patience Rest your eyes on mine, be at peace, let me live an eternity in that fleeting moment, The innocent cruelty of your uninterested gaze Your sins are the most innocent, and it is my fate to drown in your careless love By Sreya Sreedas
