Of all the promises that we made
We'll live forever
Was my favourite
That piece of paper I kept it safe
It was from my only best friend
But I guess you didn't even remember that
When you replaced me with somebody else
Somebody whose name starts with an 'S'
And I bet
All the games that we played
Now she gets to do that
And you don't even seem to care.
Good things are better left in the past
I am not going to beg you to play your part
All I wanted was a good friend
For that I tried my best
But now you have lost me forever
Consider it your worst mistake.
I know it's not too late
I've stopped waiting for you but I won't forget
Every time I cried in my sister's lap
She told me I will get a better friend
You were not worth to me after all
Again your worst mistake.
And all the sleepovers we had
Late night masti on the bed
But I guess you didn't even remember that
When you replaced me with somebody else
That girl whose name starts with an 'S'
And I bet
All the jokes that we cracked
Now she gets to have them
And you don't even seem to care.
You deny betrayal
But I am not dumb,
You are such a player
You use and throw people
Only to come back later.
All the hurtful things you said to me,
I bet you didn't even remember
You ask for forgiveness
But that you are sorry is only facial.
I will tell you what is factual
You never valued neither me nor us
What did I do wrong?
That you broke my trust
Was I not enough?
And all the classes that we went together
I bet you didn't even remember
When you replaced me with somebody else
The new bestie whose name starts with an 'S'
And all the cakes that I baked
Not a second before she ate
But you don't even seem that you care.
You always knew when I was upset
Now all is left is the excuses you make
But your spot is also replaced with somebody else
Somebody, that cares about my day
And tells "Hey! Let's play.
And at least I know it’s not fake.
When I want to talk she's free
She takes out time for me
What you should have done as a friend
But I guess not seeing each other is how this ends.
