Scary Sacred

By Anubhuti Saha

People called him sacred and pure

Just enough for an innocent to be lured

People named him, the Destroyer but called him God

Which the innocent found it odd

Because he couldn’t differentiate

Was it the fear or love which attached the crowd to the so-called God?

Unsure of the reason about why the crowd was in a state of trance with his every stance

The innocent thought of giving this spiritual dance a chance

Amidst this dance of spirituality, the innocent felt like heaven

And had a sudden encounter with the God

Confused by the situation

Is it the ‘God chose the Odd’ or ‘the Odd found the God’?

some obvious questions were made

why of all he was the chosen one for this spirituality trade

And is he the God or the Destroyer according to some rumors which are spread.

To all his questions the eternity smiled and said,

I chose u and you chose me, just because I am the destroyer and you are the innocent

The truth was served and the innocent could feel what it meant

And as it is known, truth can be ugly as hell although it is a property known to be exercised in heaven

Well now he knows what is heaven

Construct of a destruct

where the sacred felt scary and every conduct was a misconduct

Torn in shear of the fear decided the innocent for a revelation to the common crowd

But little did he knew that not only his act will no more be called the act of innocence

Now on, the Crowd will refer his truths as an act made “in-no-sense”

Maintaining its reputation, the eternity smiled

as it was once again successful in destroying the innocence of one of his dearly child.
