Similar Worlds Above And Below

By Saketh Vaddadi

These clouds are a terrific piece of nature. They get blown away by something as simple as a breeze but at the same time have the power to stop the mightiest part of nature and it's rays which light up a whole planet.

They cry down often with the hope that somebody would lend their ears and listen for a bit but they fail to remember that we have a rainfall of our own that is just like it's with none to listen to.

We enjoy the breeze that pushes away these clouds while in its tears, unknowingly, we walk all around failing to once look up and try to understand that all it needs is someone to hold it up so that it doesn't lose itself and gains back the strength to stand on its own.

The sun and it's glare on the other hand. It's anger burns so brightly that it fails to see the millions of stars that stand by it right all along. It stands alone in the midst of all of them because it thinks it is alone.

We sit ranting all day long about how the heat outside is killing us but we fail to understand that it's burning so because of us, because of our selfish selves, who consider nothing but ourselves, don't try to stand with it scared of the burns and hide underneath the shelter of these roofs or protective layers that we build for ourselves.

Well, now the moon, the night, the stars. Bliss indeed. The white moon with all its friends coming standing right there all the time. A friendship of centuries.

People give references of great friends or great lovers but what would be a greater reference for friendship than all those stars that shine right alongside the moon every night even though it disappears once in a fortnight leaving them alone and what would be a greater reference for love than that of the moon and Venus, the first evening star that shines the brightest realising that it will soon have the presence of the moon alongside it.

Well, there's one whole other world right above us that we don't see and don't realise. A lot more common to us than different from us. All it takes is to take a look up and bring peace so that both worlds live happily together in peace.

They say that night or darkness is the absence of light but if it's the night that brings friends together, if it's the night that brings two hearts closer, if it's the night that brings a family together and if it's the night that brings happiness and peace to all, then should'nt it be said that:

Day is the presence of light...

And not...

Night is the absence of light.
