Dedicated to all the women who remain bound by the
chains of a patriarchal mindset, even in the 21st century.
To every soul suppressed by familial expectations and
societal norms, unable to live their life like the
breeze—free to move where it wishes, explore any path,
and embrace its own flow without constraint. To
everyone who was meant to be care free spirit and was
made caged breeze spirit. May their caged spirits one
day become free to reclaim the boundless freedom and
shatter the wrongdoings.
In shadows cast by ancient chains,
Where whispered rules hold latent reins,
A breeze built wild, is still and bound,
Her wings of freedom never found.
She longs to roam in open skies,
To feel the wind, to embrace the flies,
But in the cage of false belief
She breathes and cries in grief
A spirit meant to roam, to soar,
Is trapped behind a distant door.
Her heart, flutter, soft and true,
Yearns for a life she never knew.
To move with grace, to fly till the end,
To break the mold, to not pretend
Yet here she is, her strength concealed
The voice within, secretly sealed.
For every woman caged and bound,
In silent homes, in quiet towns,
Your spirit calls to skies unknown
The breeze inside is still your own.
May you one day, like the wind unbind,
find the freedom long confined,
To live as wild and free as air,
A breeze unchained, and no despair...
