It's not easy being a devil, which is why no one wants to be one, but somebody had to, so I am the one filling in. Everyone in the world thinks that it's the thirst of heaven's comfort that drives people's amiable spirits, but in reality it's their dreaded vision of the hell that makes them do some good to the society. Well, as for me, I thrive upon that fear, bring the best out of my accomplices, facing death by the face and it's eyes is something I am familiar with. The grims melt when they are afraid, I have made that happen and I could do it again, but when it's encircling my friend, I have to make some deals.
Fast tracking into the night, me and my friend, were raging into the clubs after a great day at work, it was all going smooth until a beaming light pierced my eyes as flashes of giggles and screams struck my mind as a truck ran past us, the truck driver put it in full throttles as he escaped the scene, the car was set ablaze, I dashed out of the car, but my friend was still in there, I don't remember whether it was my concussion or the deja Vu that bamboozled my mind. I ran straight towards him and dragged him out, not even a faint breath was present on that road, just the two of us, he was breathing, but he was bleeding heavily. I held him in my arms as I walked on the silent streets of Jammu, with very minute hopes of his revival, I had seen giggles turn into screams and cries, I could not let that happen again. But on this very small journey, I found myself alone, the grim grinned upon my fate once again, but I couldn't surrender. The Dal Lake was going to be drenched into blood once again by familiar hands. The grim melts in fear.
People think that all the devil does is enjoy and thrive upon other's fears, but they never think that they are forced to see the negative side of the world. The cruelty of every human being, the dark was behind the closed doors, the devil never sees the Sun. While the angels deal with the laughter and giggles, the devil deals with the atrocities and cries that never let them sleep in the night.
